With licensed IP and a built-in cult following of super fans, this 1980’s toy line designed by a Jim Henson protégé, made a Kickstarter comeback in 2020. To build on this community fandom, I pitched the brand’s IP agency and creator to launch a collection that will scale and evolve the story behind the toy, with interactivity, surprise and delight for generations to come. I’ve always enjoyed the experience of wine, but didn't know much about it, so I taught myself how to create an app for the Google Assistant that helped others like me with over 3,000 unique pairings. Wine Guide was one of the first third party apps approved for the Google Assistant. It was featured by Google at SXSW & CES, won “Best Persona” in Google's Developer contest and years later, is still the top performing wine pairing app for Google Assistant.
